Partners are independent

Every provider listed on Ujiajiri is an independent business or professional. A listing does not make the provider an employee, agent or joint-venture partner of Ujiajiri Enterprises Limited. Providers set their own scope and fees, contract with clients directly and remain responsible for their own delivery and support.

What Ujiajiri checks — and does not check

Ujiajiri checks only the items explicitly shown on each profile, each with the date it was checked. The evidence types are kept separate and one does not imply another:

• Identity checked — the provider's legal or trading identity and an accountable contact were confirmed on the stated date.
• Portfolio reviewed — the listed portfolio items were reviewed with the provider's permission.
• Practical assessment — the provider completed a practical exercise relevant to its claimed capability.
• References — the stated number of client references were contacted.

Anything not shown on the profile has not been checked. Ujiajiri does not audit ongoing work, verify every claim a provider makes to a client, or monitor projects.

The contract and payment are direct

The client chooses the provider, agrees the scope and price with the provider, contracts with the provider and pays the provider directly. Ujiajiri is not a party to that contract unless a separate written agreement explicitly says so, does not collect project payments, and does not hold client credentials.

No guarantee of delivery

A Ujiajiri listing is a source of information, not a guarantee or endorsement. Ujiajiri does not guarantee a provider's price, availability, suitability, conduct or results. Businesses must perform their own due diligence before engaging any provider.

Complaints, corrections, suspension and removal

Anyone can report inaccurate profile information, misuse of an evidence label or a conduct concern relevant to the published standards by emailing us. Ujiajiri reviews reports, corrects inaccurate information, and may suspend or remove a profile that does not meet the standards. Ujiajiri cannot resolve contractual disputes between a client and an independent provider.

Paid placement and referrals

Payment never changes factual verification. Any sponsored placement, referral fee, free service or other material benefit connected to a profile or recommendation is labelled beside it. See Commercial Relationships.

Liability and disputes

To the extent permitted by law, Ujiajiri Enterprises Limited is not liable for the acts, omissions, work product or conduct of independent providers. Disputes about a project should be raised with the provider under the contract agreed between client and provider. This page describes how the directory operates and is not legal advice.
