For businesses

Find an independent provider. Keep the contract and responsibilities clear.

Ujiajiri helps businesses discover independent providers for website and digital-marketing implementation. You compare the evidence, select the provider, agree the scope and pay the provider directly.

What Ujiajiri provides

  5. Published partner standards.

What Ujiajiri does not provide

  1. Ujiajiri does not select a provider on your behalf.
  2. It does not prepare the provider's quotation.
  3. It does not collect the project payment or manage delivery.
  4. It does not hold client credentials.
  5. It does not warrant the work or guarantee price, availability, suitability or results.
Before choosing a provider

Ask these questions before work begins.

  1. Who will actually perform the work?
  2. What is included, excluded and dependent on third parties?
  3. What evidence supports the proposed approach?
  4. Which domain, hosting, website, analytics and advertising accounts will the client own?
  5. How will enquiries, forms and analytics be tested?
  6. Who supports the implementation after launch?
  7. Which products, licences and recurring costs are required?
  8. How will customer or employee information be handled?
  9. What will be handed over when the project finishes?
  10. What happens if the relationship ends early?
Keep control of the business assets

The business should retain appropriate ownership and administrator access for its domain, DNS, website, analytics, advertising accounts and content. Give providers only the access needed for the agreed task, use named accounts where possible, and remove unnecessary access after handover.

Understand the product boundary

If a project uses HOSTAFRICA products, HOSTAFRICA remains the seller, biller, provisioner, renewer and product-support provider. The implementation partner remains responsible for its own configuration and client work. Confirm both responsibilities in writing.
